Myself

My name is Andrew Goldschmidt. I am an adult male currently residing in … (A little Law joke… for those of you who have deposed a couple of affidavits, you know what I mean!)

Associate & admitted Attorney of the Cape High Court

In July 2009 I was admitted to the Cape High Court as an Attorney, and a few weeks later I received my rights of appearance in the High Court. I was also kept on by Ashersons as an Associate practicing mainly as a commercial and litigation attorney. Ashersons is a boutique practice catering for an exclusive range of both corporate and high nett worth individual clients throughout South Africa, Africa, Europe, America and Australia.

Articles of Clerkship – old news!

In June 2007 I accepted a position as an Candidate Attorney at a wonderful firm in Cape Town, namely Ashersons Attorneys! They don’t have a website up and running yet, so I can’t actually create a link here! I am starting work there on the 1st of July 2007, and am contracted to work for them for 2 years before I will be admitted as an Attorney! (Provided of course I pass all of my exams!)

Law Graduate

On the 11th December 2006 I graduated from the University of Cape Town with a three year LLB law degree. I was allowed to complete the three year degree (which is the accelerated post graduate LLB stream) since I already have an undergraduate degree – a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Information Systems also from the University of Cape Town. I am weighing up my options about specialising in the IT law sphere and I am constantly reading articles on the internet about some of South Africa’s IT law firms and what cases they are working on! I won’t name any of the firms here, but there are a couple!

Freelance Web Designer

I have put up a couple of websites that I have designed (along with the help of my team) as examples of what I am able to do. I normally only do sites for friends or people that have been specifically refered to me by people I know. My design time is limited since I am a full time student but I still find time to put in the hours!!!

    Hi,
I recently visited a website that you developed for Pickup Car Hire. I am based in Zambia and running a Car Hire. We are planning to develop a website almost similar to Pickup Car hire with the addition of Live Agents where customers are able to negotiate with the agents ( more like MSN). Kindly give us the quotation and the lead time including hosting if you do.
